Our Covid testing service is based at a private drive through testing site ran by a group of highly experienced NHS GPs.

When to get a test

You may need to get a test if you are planning on traveling abroad or have been abroad and you are returning to the UK. The tests we provide for these are:

  • ‘Fit To Fly’ PCR and Rapid Antigen (Lateral Flow) Covid Tests for Travel
  • Day 2 Covid Test on return to England from abroad
  • PCR or Rapid antigen (Lateral Flow) tests for Peace of Mind or Workplace testing

How it works

  1. Book your test by calling 01202 583920, through our website or if you have any questions arrange a call back from our highly experienced team
  2. Once a test is booked you will receive a confirmation email. A Patient ID number will be provided for Day 2 test
  3. Drive to our testing site and remain comfortably seated in your car for the test
  4. A medically trained swab practitioner will carry out the test

More about our tests

All ‘Fit to Fly’ and Peace of Mind PCR test samples are couriered to the laboratory so they will never be lost in the post.

For the ‘Fit To Fly and Peace of Mind tests, payment is taken at the Drive Through. For the Day 2 test, payment is taken at time of booking online.

There are no cancellation or amendment fees and we are open 6 days a week.

Closure of DPGP Covid Testing Drive-Through

Unfortunately, due to the low levels of testing required, we have had to close our Covid Testing Drive-Through.

Our last day of testing is Thursday 20th October 2022.
